Cheap CARES Child Aviation Restraint System

It is rare that any product is perfect, and the CARES harness certainly has a couple of spots it could be improved upon. However, the ease of use in comparison to a car seat is worth any flaws it might have.

The pros:
-You don't have to lug your car seat through the airport, detach it from something like the Go Go Travelmate or the Traveling Toddler Car Seat Accessory in order to get through security, etc.
- Installing a car seat on an airplane puts your child in kicking range of the seat in front of you, the CARES harness (mostly) prevented my son's feet from reaching the seat in front of him.
-Easy to install on the plane seat. Slip it over the back, run the seat belt through the straps, and strap your child in. I was able to do this in under two minutes, flying alone with a toddler.

The cons:
-As other reviewers described, the chest clip location is not perfect. If you are not careful in installation it ends up aligning with the neck. I was able to get the chest clip in a better location, however.
-The red strap does not lie flush with the curved seat backs.
- Lack of leg straps means the child can slouch, messing with the positioning of the harness and also putting them in range of kicking the seat in front of them.

All in all, this product *is* overpriced for what it consists of, but given that it went through the process of FAA approval, it is worth it to not have to travel with a car seat. Improvements could be made, however. Get more detail about CARES Child Aviation Restraint System.

Buying UPPAbaby Vista Stroller Travel Bag

I purchased this bag when traveling to Germany and was VERY happy I bought it. It was easy enough to bag the stroller at the gate and I was able to wheel it behind me during my layover. The bag got some scratches, but the stroller itself was in perfect condition after all 4 flights.Get more detail about UPPAbaby Vista Stroller Travel Bag.

Buy Orbit Infant System - Mocha

The orbit is by far the best stroller on the market. Not only for it's superior design-it looks better then any other- but also by it's superior finishing, cushioning, structure and handling. and It's easier to set it up. It does not have the configuration type of going on two wheels for all terrain/beach purposes, like others do, but I find that very unnecessary. In the other hand it is way easier to perform everyday activities like turning the seat to face in any direction, or disassembly for storage. The stroller does cost more then most of it's competitors , but that's compensated by it's greatest advantage; the car seat base. It not only makes unnecessary to buy a extra car seat, saving an extra $200 at least, but also works way better then other seats on the market looking very stylish small and discrete on the car when not in use. It works great and fits in any car. The system comes with the car base, the stroller structure, and the infant car/baby stroller seat, for $900. The bassinet must be purchase separately for $280 and it comes with a attachment that turns it into a rocker chair. It is expensive, but the products are of quality.

The big disadvantage on the orbit system comes on the color choice, as of now it only gives 2 color options -black and mocha- with the promise of a new ruby color for 2010. The company also does not sell fabric sets for replacement . They did release a "green edition" of the bassinet that came in a beautiful off white color made with organic "green" cotton, but that is sold out/not in the market anymore and when it was it costed the bizarre amount of $650- more then double the regular price . I've been looking to get this for my sister that's having the baby and really dreams about it, and believe me, it's impossible to get.
It's not a very customer friendly move of the company to make it so hard for the consumer to make his choice for the stroller color, specially when direct competitors like the bugaboo's offer so many and easy options for fabric color and fabric replacement. This it's something that comes at almost no cost to the manufacturer and at great satisfaction to the customer. And to have the option at hand and release it for a limited on and off time for a absurd high price it's a cheap marketing practice, and really careless and aggressive with the customer, specially on this case when the customer is usually a mother going through all the anxieties of having her first baby. The stroller is expensive enough already, it leaves a greedy image to recur to such lame profit tactics.
I would pay the extra money for the "special edition" color -if I could only find it- to please my sister, of course, but not without the feeling of being deceived and deluded by the company, which I believe comes to a greater cost to their brand.Get more detail about Orbit Infant System - Mocha.

Purchase Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seat, Tango in the Tongo

I owned an older Graco carseat with my first child but wanted a newer one for the new baby. Up to this point, I've been a huge fan of Graco products! I received this carseat as a gift and set it aside until the baby arrived. I didn't realize that the front adjust wasn't a standard feature on all car seats. This carseat only allows you to adjust the straps from behind the seat which is a pain for two reasons: 1) trying to get the straps even on both shoulders, and 2) the time and effort it takes to loosen and tighten the straps is very inconvenient when you're trying to buckle the little one in. Very frustrating product but safety wise, it is good (hence the two stars).Get more detail about Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seat, Tango in the Tongo.

Order Evenflo Aura Stroller - Centerville

As a new grandmother, I am delighted with this stroller. I assembled it in a split second by myself and with no tools. It is solidly built. It runs smoothly and comfortably. It is super easy to steer. It has more than adequate storage and well thought out amenities such as baby and adult cupholders' enclosed wipee storage (so the wipes don't dry up or to hide your house keys if you're strolling w/o your purse); one hand steering that really steers. I love the coloring. It is soft and child-like yet gender neutral. Padding is soft, fabric parts can be removed for laundering (haven't tried it yet, but it looks easy enough). It is easy to open and close and reclines for napping. It is light enough for this grandmother to get in and out of the car, but heavy enough to be sturdy.

For a newborn, since this is a stroller big enough for a 40-lb child, I would recommend one of those supports that cuddle tiny babies. You don't really need it for security, but it adds an extra level of comfort for the tiny baby. (I like Kiddopotamus & Co Snuzzler Complete Head And Body Support)especially if you didn't order the carrier/car seat that fits this stroller.

The stroller has the standard 3 point waist restraint (2 adjustable belt straps that buckle securely into a support that goes between the baby's legs. It's wider towards the waist (like an inverted triangle) to hold the belly softly, then tappers towards the legs). The restraint is very secure and easy to adjust since the baby's tray slides out of the way to allow you front access while settling the baby in.

Where To Buy Safety 1st Acella Sport Travel System

This travel system is not user friendly. It is very difficult to get the two sides of the butterfly buckle to line up in order to fasten baby in to the car seat. The top buckle often gets twisted around. Compared to other infant car seats, the seat itself just doesn't seem as comfortable. It can also sound like the car seat has locked into the base but really it hasn't. You have to be extra careful about checking it. Overall, this is a terrible product.Get more detail about Safety 1st Acella Sport Travel System.

Go-Go Kidz Travelmate

We found this a godsent when we traveled to Jamaica in APril 2009 with my then 2 years 3 month old daughter. It was easy to put together and attache or Britax carseat. We had the Britax Roundabout and had no issues with airport with the size of the carseat. The wheels popped off easy for security check and we never had any issues of unintentional pop off of wheels others have described. We didn't have any issues with security- we flew from JFK airport. Our daugher enjoyed riding in it and when she didn't want to ride it was great for piling on small bags and purses so you didn't have to carry them. It wheels very easily and turns great and is very useful. Not sure why others did not like it, maybe they had older models? Get more detail about Go-Go Kidz Travelmate.

I have the snap an Go Graco. Its great raincover, but its a bit big at opening (bottom), so when its windy it tries to fly. But its a generic product, so I guess that is how its meant to fit.

Traveling Toddler Car Seat Travel Accessory Top Quality

So we had to fly with our two-year-old and it was going to require a transfer in each direction. I looked at more expensive systems, thinking they would be the only thing that would work. On a whim I decided to try the Traveling Toddler, thinking that if it didn't work when it got to the house, I wasn't out much money. Yes, it looks unimpressive when it shows up and you'll kick yourself for not thinking of it first. We used it with an American Tourister carry-on and the Britax Marathon (circa 2006). It was wonderful! Our son weighed about 30 pounds at the time and we were able to still push him through the airport while seated in the seat attached to the suitcase. It came off very easily for security and stowed away nicely when not in use. I would highly recommend anyone looking to travel purchase this!Get more detail about Traveling Toddler Car Seat Travel Accessory.

Eddie Bauer® Deluxe Travel System - Stonewood Immediately

I hated this travel system. I used it a total of two times now it is collecting dust down in the basement. The stroller is way too bulky when you fold it and when you open it. I went out and bought a stroller from toys r us that is a Cosco that is light weight. You can bring it anywhere and it has different positions to adjust the back. The car seat don't even get me started I put my daughter in it and it would go side ways when you turned corners on the road even at a slow speed. The base I had was curved at the bottom I don't know why an Eddie Bauer product car seat base would be curved and rounded at the bottom. The one in the picture above does not look the one you would get at Big Lots so just beware of the car base being rounded at the bottom of it. I put the seat belt in as tight as I and my dad could and when I put my daughter in it it was top heavy. I thought I had it in really good one time and put her in it to drive to the Doctor's and all of a sudden the whole car seat rolled. I was so panicked I pulled over as fast as I could and ended up never using the car seat ever again. On top of that to carry that car seat around was a pain because it was so heavy.Get more detail about Eddie Bauer® Deluxe Travel System - Stonewood.

Safety 1st Eurostar Travel System - Lexi Best Quality

The fabric of the car seat is so soft and feels so expensive. I don't understand why this isn't being sold in stores anymore. I love the little pink bows too.

The only downside that I did not like was the stroller has little end caps that keep popping off on the wheels and the connector pieces on the bonnet for the car seat were kind of flimsy. I put tape around the ends the keep it from cracking when adjusting the bonnet.

Other than that, I LOVE this set and can't wait until this summer when I can take my daughter for a ride in the stroller.

Regal Lager Phil and Ted's Travel System - Graco Get it now!

This travel adapter is the greatest thing on the market! I was looking for an adapter for the Phil and Teds Dash or Sport stroller that would allow me to put the car seat in the front and still be able to have the toddler sit in the back seat, even though not recommended by the company. I tried a different adapter and with that one - besides being extremely complicated to install - I had to recline the front seat too much in order to have enough room for a child in back. This adapter here, on the other hand, is perfect: It clicks easily in place and is easily removed but most importantly, I DO NOT have to recline the front seat at all to fit my carseat in there. The carseat clicks into place and is very stable. Also, I have the Graco Safeseat instead of the Snugride, and it works perfectly for the Safeseat! Thanks so much for making such a great adapter and thus making us moms' lives so much easier!!!!Get more detail about Regal Lager Phil and Ted's Travel System - Graco.

The First Years Magna Light Travel System - Plum Order Now

First, let me say that I am a mother of 4 children. My first three were all very close together, so I haven't been in the market for a stroller in a while. However, #4 was a sweet surprise, so I needed to buy pretty much everything all over again. This was difficult simply because I had loved my Graco City Lite set I bought in 2001.

I did lots of research. My main issues are that I can't stand a big huge heavy stroller and I wanted a drink holder. This stroller is perfect - not too heavy at all, yet not an umbrella jobbie. It has a great cup holder, though an oversize drink will not fit. No worries, though, because there is also a tray which can accomodate diffent size items. With 4 kids, I drive an Expedition and with the 3rd row in, there isn't much room left in the way back. The stoller takes up most of the space. But, I can tell you that the full size strollers won't let the door close...and you better be in shape if you're lifting 35+ pounds up into the vehicle each time! The stroller has been great both reclined and now as my son begins to sit. The 5 point harness in the stroller helps hold him in place nicely. Again, the stroller is big enough to hold him, the diaper bag and my stuff, as well as small enough to manuever through stores easily.

The other BIG pro I loved about this set was that the carseat has, hands down, the best infant head support I have seen out there. Most of the carseats come with a ring piece, but this one has thicker padding on each side of the head. The result? No nodding, floppy head on my newborn! Now, there is a negative about the carseat which my husband wants me to mention and that is that the seat does not sit in shopping carts very well (the small part where bigger kids sit). The latching mechanism at the back is in a high spot and when you put the seat in the cart, the seat is leaning way back. I have not found this to be an issue, but it bothers him.

The seat has a very comfortable handle - the wide corners make carrying the chair in the crook of your arm possible and painless. I also love the colors. The pictures don't really show how rich the colors look.

Overall, this stroller has exceeded my expectations and I just wanted anyone checking it out to know how happy I have been with it. I was nervous when I ordered it because there weren't many reviews, but I haven't looked back once with regret on this purchase :)Get more detail about The First Years Magna Light Travel System - Plum.

Baby Trend Travel System - Mesa Decide Now

We have been using this system for 4 months now. After using the stroller for 2 months, the wheel completely broke off! The "single hand fold" is a horrible design and doesn't work! We thought the product was defective, but it is the design that stinks. The carseat is a huge pain. The handle is super difficult to fold down and the way you buckle the straps in is again a bad design. Don't waste your money or time on this system. We have already had to replace it. Even though the carseat is rated to 22 lbs, my son who is 18 lbs does not fit in the straps any more and there is no room to make it bigger. Overall, it looks nice, but poor designs all around. Chicco Cortina KeyFit 22 Travel System, Coventry Right now

I researched for ages before deciding on the Chicco travel system. There was a lot to like about it..
1) the stroller was relatively light
2) easy to fold, while not quite one touch, folding is a painless process. My wife saw that as the main selling point when we were trying to chose. You do have to make sure the handle is in the right place to make it easier though.
3) maneuverable, very easy to get around on smooth pavement.
4) the infant seat clicks in very easily, you do again have to make sure the stroller's handle is in the correct position
5) the infant car seat fits easily in the base with a very reassuring click. You know it is locked in
6) while little bubs may not look comfortable to me, he sleeps very easily in the seat. Pretty much immediately after I put him in he falls asleep.
7) easy to tighten and sdjust the straps on the infant seat.

Now the dislikes of the stroller
1)very flimsy stroller, it looks cheaply made
2)not a fan of the plastic wheels, they get stuck on every curb and the stroller bounces a lot on anything that is not smooth pavement. I think it is a reflection of the wheels, too small so they limit where you can go with them
3) not much padding on the stroller.
4) The stroller takes up a lot of room in the trunk when folded, we have a VW Passat, and while not the largest trunk in the world, I did not expect not so little trunk space left!
5) Not sure we have a dodgy one but the front wheels sometimes lock themselves.

To be honest, this stroller will not last, while I am a fan of the infant seat, I do not see us with this stroller for very long. We will use the infant seat, which I am a huge fan until he grows out of it then move on to something else. So all in all it is worth 4 stars for the convenience of the travel system and the fact that our little one seems to like being in the infant seat. I am a bit concerned regarding the amount of padding on the seat after we remove the infant insert. For the price of the stroller and the seat, it is a great buy.Get more detail about Chicco Cortina KeyFit 22 Travel System, Coventry.

Lowest Price Graco MetroLite Travel System, Wesley 2009

I cannot really say much about this metrolite travel system. I wanted something light and after reading over many reviews and checking out another metrolite (Sterling) in Babies R Us, I decided on the metrolite. I wanted the Quattro Travel System-Deco, but it was bigger and too heavy for me. I like the neutral color of this set because I'm having a boy, and later on can still use it if I have a girl. It was easy to set up. So far I cannot make much comments on it, but it is what it is. I already knew how it would look and feel before ordering it. The material is easy to clean, but is not fabric or soft like some other set, but I can always add something soft in it, no biggie. Now, I just have to test it out when my baby arrives around thanksgiving. If you want something light weight, look into Graco metrolite. And oh, it is so easy to fold and unfold. After I have my baby, if I have time, I will write another review. Best of luck! Get more detail about Graco MetroLite Travel System, Wesley 2009.

Low Price Graco Quattro Tour Travel System with SnugRide, Marlowe 2009

I love love love the carseat. I had an older snugride and hated it but this one is soooo updated and awesome. My son falls asleep everytime he gets in it. He never fusses when we buckle him in. I wanted a seat that only went to 22 pounds because lets face it who wants a haul around a 30 pound baby plus carseat? I get so many compliments. Wherever I go someone tells me how nice it is or asks where I got it. The front adjust is good too. I like the rounded carry handle. I can carry it and my arm never hurts.

The stroller is very nice with many options. The one thing I do not like about the stroller is that when you fold it it folds all the way down to the ground and you have to been over and pick it up. Other than that I love this stroller.

I would recommend to anyone.Get more detail about Graco Quattro Tour Travel System with SnugRide, Marlowe 2009.

Save Graco Travel System - Melbourne

I absolutely love this system. It has great handling which is perfect for shopping and getting down tight aisles. It has a very smooth ride. When used together, the shade from the stroller and car seat pull together to make a full tent cover over baby. It folds up very nicely and is quite compact. I took this along when flying with my baby to Mexico and it worked so well. The cup holders and compartment are great for mom and dad. The car seat is also narrow so that others can still fit in the back seat of a small car and it is very portable. The only complaint I have is that the stroller seat does no lay completely flat for a sleeping baby. Also, as my son is still not sitting up on his own, it would be nice if the stroller seat would also sit completely upright. (like a 90 degree angle) These are very minor details so other than that, it is wonderful.

Discount Graco Quattro Tour Sport Travel System in Boone

We have this same system (but different color/pattern). I love how comfortable it is to push and for my son to sit in. We purchased it for an infant (I am 6 months pregnant), but until the baby comes, my 3 1/2 year old son is using the stroller. He fits in it very comfortably and he loves riding in it - very smooth ride. My husband is 6'1" and I am 5'3" and we both find it easy to maneuver. Sometimes strollers are too short for him to push without getting a backache, but this height is great for him (and me too).

We have not used the car seat yet since I'm still pregnant but we love the look. We like the padding and that it is easy to clean. We had a Graco travel system with our older son, but this is more of a "loaded" model, and we like it a lot better! Looks sharp and at a decent price.

My ONLY issue is sort of a major one. The stroller does not fit into the trunk of my car (Pontiac G6 sedan). It is a HUGE stroller to fold up in comparison to the lower-end Graco model we used to have. It does fit in my husband's Saturn Ion trunk. We didn't realize this until we purchased it, and it's a pretty big deal...so please keep this in mind if you don't have a large trunk!! It is very tall when folded.Get more detail about Graco Quattro Tour Sport Travel System in Boone.

Cheapest Baby Trend Jogger Travel System - Gray Mist

I love this stroller! I use it everyday, not only to go out for walks with the baby but also use it to go shopping. It is the best to go for long walks, but not the best for small turns around the mall or for jogging. Thats why I have to give it a 4/5. If not it is a perfect stroller for the price.
Other than that, it is a smooth ride for my baby usually falls sleep when I put him on it.
The car seat does fit on the stroller. I was a little bit skeptical about this, since I had read many reviews saying it does not fit well on the stroller. But it does. No problem with it.
The stroller and car seat are a little bit on the heavy side, but what stroller/car seat are not? everything is heavy nowadays.
I definitely recommend this product.Get more detail about Baby Trend Jogger Travel System - Gray Mist.

Cheap Graco Alano Travel System- Little Wonders

I bought this stroller sight-unseen after reading great reviews for the infant carseat. I figured the design and usability would be the same. Boy, was I wrong. This stroller is bulky, large, and awkward. The wheels spin around and get stuck easily, and my undercarrage tray is always collapsing. Worst of all are the hideous straps. There are little clips that slide into the center piece and then snap into the crotch snap. You have to hold onto four pieces and then snap them into the middle. I don't know about you, but my toddler does not stay perfectly still while I'm trying to put her in the seat. It's a nightmare.

I'd recommend the infant carseat and a snap and go model for all new parents. Those two pieces saved my life. Get a different day to day stroller, though.Get more detail about Graco Alano Travel System- Little Wonders.

Buy Graco Passage Travel System, Abbington

I've really enjoyed this travel system so far. My son is 3 months old, so he's still riding in the carseat when we use the stroller. The seat is easy to get in and out of the car when you use the base. You can also purchase extra bases so you can have one in each car which makes things really simple. I can open and close the stroller with one hand while holding my son in the other. The carseat part is a little heavy if you have to carry it a while and the handle gets in the way of putting the sun shade up and down a little, but overall, not a big problem. I'd recommend it.Get more detail about Graco Passage Travel System, Abbington.

Purchase Baby Trend Travel System, Skylar

This stroller is for my second child who is now a month and a half old. The stroller itself is very lightweight and easy to unfold and re-fold. The basket beneath is big enough to hold a lot of bages and purses and the cup holder and adjustable handle is also nice and very conveinent. The bad part about this stroller is the infant carrier. It is very heavy, even without the baby inside, and the straps do not adjust easily or very far. I doubt our son will fit in this seat longer then a few months. Both myself and my husband have a very hard time fastening the crotch latch and the plastic is very cheap feeling. The material of the stroller and car seat is too rough and feels like plastic. It will be east to clean but not very comfortable for my little one. The other bad part is when the carrier is in the stroller it does not lay flat enough to recline the baby but sits him in a very up right position. I hunted for months for a stroller and am very disappointed I ended up with this one. I would recommend spending a little more money for a nicer travel system. Where To Buy Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel System with Snugride32 in Townsend

Our baby was born at 33 weeks, we were a little concerned that he would not fit into it. We brought him home at 35 weeks and with just a little help from some blankets it worked perfect. We have loved it. It is a little bigger than some of the others but he will also get to stay in it longer. The stroller is very easy to collapse and put back together. Shop For Evenflo Aura Select Travel System - Georgia Stripe

We purchased this travel system 2 months ago when our second daughter was born. It was bought to replace our older Graco system that we saved after having our 1st daughter. I bought based on they styling and cute girly pattern plus what I thought was a great value. Immediately when I got the seat out I noticed that it was much lighter and not nearly as sturdy feeling as our Graco seat. The sun hood is smaller and doesn't offer as much coverage, and the carrying handle doesn't feel tough and reliable. That was our first impression, then we put the seat in our car and started using it. Only to notice by day 2 that the seat sits much more upright than the Graco and caused our newborns head to flop forward. We used the best adjustment to try and prevent it and not luck, it is just designed to be more upright I guess. Still yet we have continued to use it but over the past month now that the baby is a little older we've been out at least 3-4 times a week shopping and out to lunch and have discovered a new irritation. The seat WILL NOT fit the standard high chair stands (the ones that you flip upside down) in restaurants and I mean all of them. We eat out a lot and I have yet to run across a stand design that will work with this seat. They also will not fit properly on shopping carts either. The handle base is too wide and causes the problem, not necessarily the seat itself. The stroller is nice but also has the lighter, "not made so well" feel and the wheel base is much wider which is difficult for maneuvering while shopping as well. I have decided today with irritation after irritation that we will take this system to the consignment shop and stick with our old Graco. My 2nd time new mommy nerves cannot handle any extra aggravation while out with two children. Please do not consider this as a suitable alternative if you are used to the Graco functioning and feel. I do love the look of the whole travel system though!Get more detail about Evenflo Aura Select Travel System - Georgia Stripe.
