Before our baby was born we went to a store and actually tried all kinds of strollers, then decided to get this one with the green bubbles design. Used it almost every day for a walk in the neighborhood to get back into shape. (However, it is not designed for running, I had to switch to a jogging stroller eventually.)

Pros:
* maneuverability - glides like skates, even with one hand, it was the best in comparison to all the other strollers. Air tires, shock absorbers, baby always fell asleep during our walks.
* accessories and adjustability - bells and whistles, see the manufacturer's description, so many... again, it seemed the best available. (Bassinet and chair in one, canopy against sun/wind, boots in the wintertime, different handle bar length for parents, reversible facing seat, easy to fold, etc.) Bassinet was important to me as I did not want my little one sitting in the car seat instead, with a curled back.
* durable, high quality materials (this one is actually made in Italy - hence the price?)

Cons:
* a bit bulky, but fits fine in the back of my wagon (combi), a bit snug in the trunk of a sedan VW. Bulkiness may be a problem in stores, but easy maneuvering makes up for it.
* kind of heavy, too, but not since my arms got a lot stronger from lifting & carrying my kid all the time :) However, if you're going to put it in and take it out of the car on a daily basis... whew, I think you'll be annoyed.
* not cheap

Summary:
I'm glad we had the $$$ from the baby shower to purchase it, we used it enough to make it worthwhile. It will serve our next little one, too. I think it is perfect in a (small) town where you can actually walk downtown safely (like in Europe, doing small grocery shopping often). Ok, I'll admit it: I'm 33 and I bought this giraffe for myself!

I have dealt with insomnia for years... trying white noise machines and cds to help me sleep ... and usually falling back on talk radio to lull me to sleep each night.

The problem with most white noise/sound machines is that I would either have to plug them into headphones (I sleep on my side) or my husband has to endure the "summer rain" sounds till I fall asleep. Also, quite a few white noise machines/nature cds have annoying music, repeating sounds/short loops ... frustrating.

The Cloud B Giraffe has solved my problem... I can sleep on my side with the animal under the blankets. I can control the volume exactly as I need to, even while half asleep!

My only complaints are 1. for MY purposes, I don't need the "play" and "safari" buttons. They are lovely and cute for awake time (play has a gentle drum along with real giraffe sounds, and safari has a music-less safari soundtrack, including giraffe, birds, etc) but not particularly useful for me. Then again, this IS a TOY for CHILDREN, so ... :)

Complaint 2. is that it would be nice if the buttons were more concealed and a little less easy to accidentally bump. This isn't really a problem for me, but I can imagine that for children who roll around at night, they might end up hitting the "play" button instead of the "white noise" button.
