We use this set all the time for our baby. The changing pad is not padded at all and he is beginning to outgrow the length of it at 5mo but its enough to keep baby off of dirty changing tables. The diaper caddy is great for trips where the whole diaper bag isn't needed but a few diapers and wipes and will do. The bottle holder is well insulated. We haven't used it for keeping a bottle cold but it keeps bags of milk chilled with a freezer pack for many hours.
