Vulli Sophie the Giraffe Teether, Brown/ White Immediately

I got Sophies for my 7-month old daughter and niece for Christmas because I had heard that they were great teethers and toys. In that regard, they are spot on. Sophie is adorable, and nicely natural colored (instead of purple or pink or blue like so many baby toys). My daughter loves to chew on her head and her feet, and she thinks the squeak is hilarious.

Just a note, though. Sophie is a good bit smaller than I was picturing. I don't quite know why, but I thought she would be taller than she is (she stands 7 1/2 inches tall). I also thought the rubber would be a bit thicker and more sturdy... instead she's made of a thin, dog toy kind of rubber (with a similar kind of squeak). I'd be careful with her if you have dogs who assume all squeaky toys belong to them. ;)

All in all, it's a cute toy and probably worth the price since my daughter does seem to like it and I like that it doesn't look quite so cheap and plastic-y as most. Get more detail about Vulli Sophie the Giraffe Teether, Brown/ White.
